My Craftsman short box on rollers is dying. It is a 5 drawer, 2 deep, 2 medium, 1 shallow (socket size).

The slides are breaking up after 25 years of service. :(


Would like to replace w another quality box that will last 20-25 years....


Size I need is 39" wide max...38" tall max....and 22" deep max.


Having a hard time finding a quality chest within the 39" width? :(

I bet Sears still has replacement slides available ...about the only thing Sears does really well is parts continuity :rofl3:

I think they are welded in and the welds are broke on top of them being worn out.

Actually....I guess Sears had good luck w these 25-30 years ago because they still sell them!
