Why have I lost the ability to post in any of the member forums ?

I was going to respond to Dave's retirement thread and got a message that said I didn't have rights to post.

So TG gets the presidency and I lose my rights?

Now that the corporation is going to dissolve towards the end of the year, how or are we going to have dues ? I was waiting to see what was going to happen.

Exactly!!! That is what the changes being made are intended to do. Unfortunately posts like these are happening because the Chicken Littles of the world that don't want to attend meetings to learn first hand what is going on.

Look this is our own little virtual social world, it has nothing to do with anything else including Ford Shelby GT500 cars.

I am here because everyone here became my friend through one of the few forums that have existed since the GT500 was rumored to be built and this is where we all come to socialize about us, each other and the world. I have met most of you in person at some point or two and I have yet to meet some of you and may never will but that doesn't matter. However after 13 years we can meet up in person at any point and know each other well enough to hang out like old friends.

Efforts are being made to keep this site going as the social site it has become without the added effort and expense of a no longer needed transparency structure namely the corporation. We are far past the need for such an entity to keep the website and forum honest. Thus this site will be around at least for several more years.

We have tried to keep everyone informed the best we can with threads and an actual "LIVE MEETING" where anyone was able to ask any question. Bill has agreed to coordinate things once the corporation (NOT THE WEBSITE OR FORUM) is dissolved. He will collect the minimal funds needed to keep the site (Website and Forum) running and pay the bills to keep the site (Website and Forum) running with those funds.

You can by all means wonder off to the other forums out there but please don't leave us for dead or pronounce us to others as being dead. The only thing that will happen with you departing us is you missing out on our continued socializing and Dan's obnoxiously long posts.

NanaJan has been sick the last few days. Just a cold but b/c of her other issues, it just totally lays her out ...fever, can't even get out of bed or eat or it just ....well, lets say both ends are her enemy. :yikes: :barf: :fartrocket: etc. ...poor baby. This is 'normal' for her with a cold :(

Outside of that we're both doing great :haha:
