Predicted given the color s on the first two heritage were 1 and 2. And also that the gulf color scheme was forbidden in the bespoke paint schemes.

That should be quite an auction, in light of the fact that you can't just buy a Ford GT.

Tony, might be time to call Rick Hendrick to see if he wants your matching prior-edition. ...can't hurt!

Re: Hendricks. It's a little humorous but when I sold my second Shelby GT it went to a guy in Florida that did some really horrible interior changes. The car then went to BJ in Florida where a collector lady bought it (Ele Chesney, but she had a truly marvelous collection of the art deco glass hood ornaments from things like Caddy and Rolls, they were works of art from some guy in France and a huge and valuable collection in their own right). She immediately donated the car directly to Craig Jackson for his gene cancer research foundation. He sold it at the next auction for charity and Hendricks bought it. Craig's comment to him was "you've bought a lot of cars from us but this is the first Ford"! Anyway, he bought it for the donation and very shortly thereafter it showed up in one of his dealerships for sale. Some guy bought it and showed up on the Shelby Forum and tried to sell it for well over 100K. He said that Hendricks paid that for it. When I stated that I was the original owner and that Hendricks bought it at a charity auction and that that price had no bearing at all on the car price, he got really obnoxious. I think he ended up selling it to a dealer for about 28K. I've lost track of the car since then but I googled the CSX number and think it may have been wrecked.
Anyway, the car was noted several times as "unrestricted' for resale, so I expect he'll resell it soon. Fords just aren't his thing.

There were 3 Heritages at BJ on Saturday. (Originally back in December there were 4, but someone saw that many and pulled their consignment). They all did over 400K, so I'm pretty confident I can put mine back at 400 and move it. The 485K first one was an abberation though - it was a Canadian car which historically have gotten less than US cars. I won't bring it back to consignment place though, with his 20% adder it won't move.
