I just added some side blocks on the forums home page. They are cool new ways to present a "dashboard-like" view of whats currently happening on the forums.
Some members may not like losing the full width but behold you can click the double arrows and collapse the side blocks out of way and they will remain that way until you clear your cookies or log out. (See attachment pictures)
In the upcoming days I hope to add an additional block or two to showcase other things.
Hope you like them.

Will take some getting used to, but looks pretty good!

That looks really cool, but I don't see them. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

It's on the Forum page, not the site Home page. His location was kind of misleading. I also thought it was on the Home page.

The same thing has been on the home page since we started the site. I limited the threads and posts shown to only the "new members and Technical" sections only.

Different. I think I might like it. Even though I rarely go the forums home page except to click on the new posts or who's online links.
Nice work CD.

Thanks Robert. Im seeing how this goes but the next mod to it may be applying it to all the Forums pages (excluding blogs, Home and CMS stuff)

It doesn't. I use Firefox too.
Click on the 'Forum' tab & look all the way to the right.
