Ford Racing's 140mm Super Cobra Jet Intake worth while?

I'm debating on getting this MAF Housing or am I better to get the 123mm kit instead? I was reading that I'd need a custom inlet tube and it could have possible clearance issues witht eh stock hood. Anyone know anything about this MAF Housing?

I always read its not worth stepping up to the bigger maf unless you need it for a pegging maf meter. Thought there wasn't much hp gain in switching to the 123mm.

This is a race piece only. With a tube that big it would have a difficult time metering the air at the slow idle speeds a street car runs at. (high idle is not a factor on a race car)
