It's time for some new tires for the beast. I still have the original tires that came on the car. I have been scared to drive the car with old tires even though they look good. No cracking or nothing. I am going to have the antifreeze changed in the cooling system and supercharger system also. Oil needs to be changed also but have the oil already just have to put it in the trunk.
Going with some Michelin sport poilot's

All good things to do!!

The Michelin Pilot Sports are a good choice, imo. :wtg: They wear better than the Cup-2 and give way more traction than the original tires your GT500 had.

Yup car is still original except CAI and pulley. Been debating on keeping the wheels and tires because once they take the tires off the wheel they can't mount them again.
TG can I get a loan? tires ain't cheap but i am LOL

My original wheels still have the original tires on them too. I have Shelby Razor wheels on it now. I didn't do any mods to mine.

I know you’re cheap, you leave Virginia on bald tires and drive all the way back to California :haha:

Have you seen these signs at your DMV Art?

Looks like they are trying to not let you work on cars in Kommiefornia anymore. :(

You have to keep one step of things here.
Did you all know July first you have to do a back ground check to buy ammo, but wait there is more way more. You have to pay $1 for each check. Not enough yet? You cant buy ammo for a gun not registered to you. so if you want 22 ammo but you don't own a 22 than no sale. If you go to Nevada to buy some ammo and you flash your Ca. ID they wont sell you ammo ether.
I haven't bought tires yet.

I like the Nitto 555’s. Good price point for a sticky summer tire.

I think OCD runs those and really likes them too. They're a lot cheaper too, but dunno how their construction performs vs the Michelins in the twisties.

Yup, imo the Nitto 555 G2’s are the best bang for the buck for our cars... Great grip in turns, they last a long time, and are awesome in rain... My buddy just put a set on his car too, and really likes them...

The 555R's are a good street drag radial, for best launch grip the NT05's are awesome...

**** i didn't see this before i ordered mine from the dealer. They are giving me a deal. around $1,000 for the set. Have to change the oil antifreeze supercharger coolant brake fluid. This is going to be expensive but the car is 13 years old. This will be it's first major service.
