Waaaay cool if a real one...

The GT500s were 428s but Ford did authorized Shelby to stuff about 35 '67 GT500s with the 427 thumper ...way cool, if that's really one of them -- they were VERY fast ...essentially the NASCAR motor but with a medium-riser to clear the hood, as I recall ..they made in the vicinity of 530HP and 510Tq, not too shabby for factory-stock NA motor that could rev north of 7K and still carried a [limited] factor warranty.

I believe Jim Morrison owned one in blue ;-)

On Car Fix they had a modern Mustang with a Thumper installed in it. They explained a lot about the motor.

This vintage 427Mustang sounds great -- not original to the car since although 427 (W-code) was a '68 option (saw with my on eyes and almost ordered one) but Ford claims they never actually built any.

I can't find it. I looked on their website which was useless, I checked IMDB but season 8 episodes are listed. You will just have to search.

I couldn't find anything either ...it's out there but sometimes it seems impossible for search engines to index certan things.

I never did mind this replacement although the original was the best, after all Farah Fawcett was a unique original.
