OK - I didn't get to drive it but thanks to some one slacking off on the job I was able to sit in and explore a 2011 Mustang GT this morning. I may go back and pop the hood as it didn't occur to me until now I should have. My first impression of the car sitting on the lot was that it is a really sharp looking car. The 5.0 really stands out and while I don't look at it and think "Wow that looks fast" I do like it a lot. For the money the only thing that can rival it is probably the new V6 but I didn't see any of those on the lot and this was the only 5.0. I love the dark blue too.
after wandering around the outside of the car I grabbed the door handle and was shocked when the SOB opened right up for me....I was hoping to find a key in the car but no such luck so no joy er test drives today. I did sit in the car as one of my complaints has been the lack of head room in the coupe for my size. I fit very nicely so I don't know if there is more room or if the seat goes lower or I shrunk or what but I fit nicely into this coupe...I shut the door and snapped some pics. I am very impressed with the Dash and set up of the interior as well as the controls on the steering wheel.....If they put a heads up display in then it will be really amazing.
Over all through I never got to start the thing up I am VERY impressed with the 2011 sitting still The seats are nice looking too with the new design. I can't wait to see the GT500 MC rolls into y drive with next week :) Here's the pics from the 5.0 today:

Nothing with wheels or alchohol sold on SUndays...at least carry ou alchohol. Can by a boat but not the trailer so most places are just closed on Sunday. The car thing is nice so you can sho with no sales guys but the booze thing can be a pain when you forget to buy on Sat. for something like the superbowl.

No Sunday cars sales in Anne Arundel county in MD either. If you really need a car on Sunday, you can go to the next county over.

The dealers here used to be open on Sunday but I have found none of them open any more. I guess Sunday sales were not good enough. When the Camaro's first came out I stopped to look at one on a Sunday and found it unlocked.

Funny ...because i was out looking at new F150's today. It's nice when you can look without a salesman up your arse.

That's fine if you think you will be satisfied with it after having the GT500. Nothing wrong with the 11 GT though.:yea1:

No car dealers are open on Sunday in Colorado either. Liquor sales only became legal a year or two ago. Most "mom and pop" stores didn't want to open so they could have one day off but the big stores pushed it through.
I remember going through car lots looking for a car on Sunday because none of the hawks were pouncing on us.
