I doubt it. Did you see where/when he got it and where he is now? He's a Vietnam vet that probably lived through what went on in Apocalypse Now and lives off the grid.

So I've always wondered what Rolex really cost so I went to the Rolex web site and priced out a gold Oyster Chronograph and they're something around 44K. Is that really what they go for at a store? If so, absurd. I shop around to save a buck or two on my Timex when it dies (every 4 years or so, whenever the battery runs out) and usually find it for under $20.

 I do the same (Timex) but add a stretch band for another $11.99 :rofl3:

Then it wind up in a dresser drawer and I almost never wear it ...except maybe for a wedding :haha:

There are a lot of Rolex watches in Vegas. They have a store in one of the casinos. Maybe the Wynn.LOL

That's odd. I got my Rolex on Canal Street in Manhattan a few years ago and it was only 20 bucks. I guess I'm just a good shopper.

I used to take my niece to Canal Street on an over night bus trip from Pittsburgh. We would arrive in the morning and she would do her thing. She was 11 when we started. She knew how to get them to chase her instead of her getting ripped off by them. She would have them literally following her down the street until they lowered the price to what she was willing to pay. And she always knew what was real and what was a knock off. Those were proud and fun moments for me :)

Then we would have to get a New York pizza before getting back on the bus to go home.

That's good for him.

I have a few "antique" things but not sure how much they are worth. I do have that old phone my dad left me...found out it's only worth about $175.

I also have some sort of old polaroid camera kit in a case...haven't even opened the box in years....but it's probably from the '70s and in mint condition. I'll have to research it sometime.

I have a coin collection too...but just coins I've come across in circulation and probably the whole kit is worth a few hundred. I think I have a 2 cent piece from like 1876 or something....maybe it's worth something?

I also have this antique car....2007 Mustang . :look:
