Caught the end of Beverly Hills Cop....very very quickly there was a disclaimer that came across the screen...

Still trying to find exactly what it said, but it was something to the effect of “this movie has culturally unacceptable views and should not be condoned”

Quick search shows Disney movies such as Jungle Book and Peter Pan aren’t acceptable either.

At the Preakness horse race today in NC, they eliminated the NC state song for the first time in 140+ years and substituted a live performance of a reworded rock/pop song (forget the name now but everyone knows it) about having no guns :yikes: WTF!!

The reason given is that the NC state song has lyrics from an earlier time that may be offensive.

No, what's offensive is a racing commission and some dude who thinks he can sing screwing around with a 140+ year old tradition. Doh! :rant:
