So how old was Dan? Really? We joked about him being thousand of years old all of the time and being there for events through out history but how old was he really?

Actually 409 years old, it was a typo.lol
Pretty sure he was between 68 and 70 years old. :(

I can see him in that pic in the link, but that must have been when he was in his 30’s or maybe early 40’s.

This is truly sad to me. He made lots of friends here. I will surly miss the Dan post. They were truly epic.

Born March 5, 1948...so he was 73
I will miss him...he was a friend and mentor to me, and inspired me in many ways such as my love for the Universe...he would occasionally send me articles from Science magazines to read and suggested local astronomy clubs.
