I bought a 2022 Heritage Edition GT500

Hey guys! Hope all is been well! So I had a purple gt500 on order. After talking with some owners they were hinting to me that the car most likely wasn’t going to get built, sadly they were correct. Up to this point it’s been a miserable process trying to find a car. You would think buying a car would be fun but it was eveything but fun. Dealers laughing in my face and every one of them wanting 15-50k adms for them. I almost ordered a hellcat. Yesterday I was tagged in a post for a heritage gt500 the dealer was super awesome to deal with and in my price range. The car literally just left the plant and is currently in Colorado, its destination being Nebraska where it will be picked up and headed to NJ!! The car was a special order that the buyer backed out of. It’s HE, technology, handling pack and my favorite the carbon fiber dash which was discontinued and I was unable to order it on the purple car. I’m super excited to finally be back in a mustang after selling red back in 2020. I’m just curious how long it is until I start making this one faster 😳😂😂😂

I just looked up the details. If it is that light blue color - is that the only color - it's gorgeous!

Hint. If it doesn't have the painted stripes then right now buy an extra set or two of the vinyl stripes and store them in a cool dry dark place. Ford's stripes are notorious for failing... Maybe you can get away with waiting until the warranty is about to go out before getting them. The reason I say now or before warranty expires is that parts for low volume Ford products are now first to go into obsolete pile and be unavailable... That's why if I were buying one of these I would have gotten the painted stripes even at 10K.

Yes ! The Brittany blue metallic, if I was able to order one I would’ve got a painted black stripe car so far my buddy and I only located 7 black stripe HE cars! When I ordered my purple car the dealer said if you don’t want the car to come order stripes so I didn’t. This car happened to be posted on Facebook and I called him and bought it. I will definitely be buying a spare set of stripes as it is a vinyl stripe car, I don’t mind it cause the HE is the only one that says GT500 on the side like the 2007. 3051430515 I should have my car before thanksgiving!
