General Forum Rules & Guidelines
* "The goal of Stangs United is to be an Automotive Club wherein a broad range of like-minded automotive enthusiasts can socialize; develop a membership camaraderie; share automotive ownership interests and experiences; share technical information, insight and knowledge; and collectively keep current on emerging automotive industry trends and evolving technologies as may interest the collective membership."
* We believe strongly in the First Amendment. We encourage discussion and debate. We believe every member of this forum is capable of acting like a responsible adult. What will be considered inappropriate: Personal attacks; Vulgar language; Deliberate rudeness; Malicious Insults; Inflammatory posts, i.e. trolling.
* Many disagreements can be settled by the parties involved through private communication – private messages, e-mail, etc. If this manner of communications is ineffective, the parties involved are asked to contact the Administration of Stangs United Inc. We will make every attempt to be open-minded when considering the issue at hand, and will strive to make fair and amicable decisions. The decision made by the Administration of Stangs United Inc., pending review by the Board of Directors, will be final.
* Spamming and/or trolling are not allowed. This includes using the forum, private messaging system, member e-mail, visitor messages, picture comments, and any and all other modes of contact via the Stangs United Inc. forum.
*You may obtain permission to post an advertisement in the forums. To obtain permission, send an email to the Stangs United Inc. site Administration. Your request will be voted on by the Stangs United Inc. Board of Directors. You will be informed within 3 business days whether your request was granted or denied. The use of private messaging system, member e-mail, visitor messages, picture comments, and any and all other modes of contact via the Stangs United Inc. forum to distribute advertisements are strictly forbidden, regardless of obtaining permission to post advertising in the forums.
* We will not tolerate any posts or links to sites that are explicitly sexual in nature, nor any posts or links that violate Stangs United Inc. community standards. The Administration of Stangs United Inc. will determine, if necessary, what violates the community standards.
* Stangs United Inc. reserves the right to remove offensive posts/pictures without notice.
* Not all situations can be listed here; therefore, the Administration of Stangs United Inc reserves the right to take any actions necessary to stop any abuse or disruption, including suspension of privileges and/or outright banning.
*Any decision made by the Administration of Stangs United Inc. that wants to be challenged by a member will be reviewed by the Board of Directors, at which time it will be upheld or overturned.
