Costs; New Transit to Get 25+ Percent Better Fuel Economy

• Ford’s expanding lineup of fuel-efficient engines and alternative-fuel
  technologies – including EcoBoost^®, hybrid, plug-in hybrid,

• In addition to Ford’s award-winning, fuel-efficient 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6
  engine, the U.S.-built Ford Transit cargo and passenger vans also will
  feature a new diesel engine option when production starts in 2013

After seeing the crappy mileage from my current Ecoboost, I'm not so sold on one in my van.

I'm hearing this from a few more people now w/ 4 wheel drive F150's.

Seems the 2 wheel drives are getting upper teens for mileage, but not 4 wheel drive w/ tow package vehicles.

I'd have to see some real world results.

What about the new 4.4L diesel? Diesel fuel is pricey these days tho.

Whatever engine, they're psomising 25% fuel economy increase over the E-series, etc.
