yeah, about the same for my bud too -- street only but he also has a Escape so 350 only rolls in good weather.

I have to get my GT350 fix soon ...probably later this month for a couple days ;-)

Interesting that with some folks having oil consumption issues, his is using essentially nothing -- goes whole 5K change cycle with no top up at all ...uses well less than a half-quart in 5K miles and gets 24 mpg on the highway if just cruising non-aggressively. On the backroads just cruising about 18. On the backroads 'fun' driving about 13-14 ...less if more fun

Good Q! Maybe they record the formula ...or maybe not.

A couple of the site members ( SVTP ), question some of the #'s, not sure how " updated " it is..

    Re: 2020 Shelby GT500 -- Sweet!!!!

    Cool!!

Interesting that is says it wears "S4" Michelins yet the pics show "Cup-2" right on the tires on the car and most likely it will ship with the Michelin Cup-2 "FR" compound tweaks.

Possibly the base vehicle will ship with S4s and TrackPack and CFPack versions with Cup-2/FRs -- the pics in the eSource Book probably predating the FR compound tweaks.

    We shall see.

Edit: Yes PS 4S is standard; Cup-2s on the Track/CF Packs...

    Edit: Wheels & Tires...

Included in Base: 20" flow-formed High-Gloss Black aluminum wheels with 295/30ZR20 front and 305/30ZR20 rear tires

Included in CF/Track Pack: 20" Exposed Carbon Fiber wheels with 305/30ZR20 front and315/30ZR20 rear tires

Edit: Re standard PS 4S -- this sounds like the same multi-treat multi-compound philosophy applied to the most recent FR version of the Cup-2 tires on the 2019 GT350:

Using a unique bi-compound technology, the standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are track-tested. Outer part of the tread uses a new hybrid compound that promotes grip on dry ground. Inner side of the tread uses a new compound with silica and functional elastomers, which helps give the tire more consistent
grip on wet surfaces. With optimized tread footprint developed and tested successfully in Formula E racing, these are the first 18‑inch tires to be used on open-wheeled race cars

Edit: Re Cup-2 Michelins on Track/Carbon Pack versions (as expected). See the eSourceBook for more details on Cup-2 tire construction:

Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires feature GT500-specific sidewall construction, tread and formulation for maximum longitudinal and lateral grip

Also, they show valve lift as: intake 38.3 mm/exhaust 32.5 mm. -lol Clearly that diameter not lift.

Would have been nice if someone actually proof-read it before releasing it -lol- or maybe it's an preliminary version, but that's still no excuse for errors and I'm not aware of Ford intentionally doing a prelim on eSourceBook material.

    Deck spoilers -- 3 variations:

Three different rear decklid spoiler designs to meet the customer's performance needs include:

    - Standard Raised,

[this is identical to 2019 GT350 which got this improved spoiler from the GT500 program]

    - Optional Swing (Raised+Gurney Flap)
[flap is quickly installed/removed with provided fasteners; 379# downforce @180]
    - GT4 Wing
[CF TrackPack only, 2-position adjustable, 550# downforce at 180]

Gobs of unique aero that the spoilers work with as part of the total aero design, e.g.:

whole front fascia and grille (black stainless steel),
    front and rear belly pans,
    front splitter,
rear fascia and quad-exhaust tip diffuser,
angles and locations of coolers (six),
side wickets for airflow across wheel opening,
hood dome and extractor (removeable rain pan),
even the shape of the inner wheel wells and revised and larger brake cooling air help manage overall airflow.

Some other tidbits if I'm remembering correctly from earlier:
GT500 unique headers with 3.75"(?) collector
2.75" inch exhaust with x-pipe back to
    5"(?) quad-tip exhaust tips

    ---

    It says:

Spring rates are: 251 lbs./in. front and 914 lbs./in. rear -- sounds reversed to me else front springs would have to be compressed about 5" each just to contain static load.
I'll have to read through it when I get some time.

Note: Four wheel down and dolly towing is NOT possible -- flat-bed ONLY towing! I'm guessing this is DCT driven but dunno. Don't think anyone will be towing their GT500 behind their RV anyway -lol

    ...

Overall I'm amazed at the level of sophistication and total systems integration as well as human factors/haptics integration ...still reading -lol- but...

ALso note how low the torque number is compared to the HP number....I wonder if they're not just making all the HP at high RPMs. Would like to see the dyno printout to see the area under the torque curve. (I bet the torque and HP lines cross at 5252 RPM LMAO).
Dave, this addresses some of the questions I think you've asked (and maybe some you didn't?) ...just from memory...

It is the 12" digital dash so surely will be tailorable.

12" LCD digital instrument cluster with MyColor and
SYNC 3 system featuring an 8" color LCD
    touchscreen in the center stack.

Also, the drive modes (normal, sport, track, drag, slippery) do integrate/optimize several systems based on the inputs from many systems' sensors:

Features 5 unique modes that tailor Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS),
stability control, traction control, steering effort, throttle mapping,
MagneRide suspension tuning and exhaust settings

Four exhaust mods similar to 2018+ MGT (GT350 has 2, normal & sport):

Quiet — lowers the noise of the exhaust
Normal — default factory exhaust setting
Sport — raises the noise of the exhaust
Track — exhaust tuned for track performance (track use only)

Extensive TrackApps ...drag tree (like MGT/PP), selectable multi-configuration performance shift modes/indicator, etc. more ...with full accelerometer mapping and lap times for track ...more. Recording. Pretty impressive!

Nice interior! This pic w/ optional CF dash applique (available on all versions, I believe).

All surfaces that can be soft are soft; lots of non-gloss materials ...even 'chrome' trim is darkened and low-gloss to eliminate glare.

    Nicely done!

Those gauges between the air vents that are inboard of the dash eyebrows are Oil Pressure and Coolant Temp...
