There are lots of ways to meet emissions but there are right ways and wrong ways.

Really only three. There's the right way, the wrong way and the Peoples Republik Of Kalifornia way.

My GT was the wrong way. Passed tail pipe emissions but couldn't pass the Nevada (California) OBDII System Readiness test since they disabled three systems. It was from "The GT Guy" sourced from someone that is supposed to know what they are doing and they couldn't ever get me one that worked. For this reason I don't endorse Rich very much any more.
    Cheers.

Yeah, there's no reason to disable any systems (unless the parts that support them were removed -- like the cats -lol). Our cars don't have to pass emissions sniffer (too old) but do have to have all OBDII readiness monitors online.

Well it's a moot issue now...he bought a different car last night. He bought a 2019 Mustang GT. Here is the photo he sent me. He said it's used and has 5,000 miles on it. 460 HP, which I assume is stock.

oops...having trouble with photo...let me reboot and try again
